FFF SUSPENDS WORLD CUP SQUAD

Breaking news coming out of France! The French Football Federation has announced that new coach, Laurent Blanc, has requested that no member of the 2010 World Cup squad be selected for the August 11th friendly with Norway in Oslo.
France not only suffered a terrible performance during the World Cup, but it was also surrounded in controversy when all 23 squad members refused to train after Nicolas Anelka was sent home for verbally abusing then coach, Raymond Domenech.
It’s a tough move by the new coach, who looks like he is already stamping his authority on the footballing nation. Time for the French to fall in line.
