FABREGAS WILL PLAY DESPITE SHOULDER PAIN
Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas is set to play against Germany in their World Cup semifinal on Wednesday despite battling his nagging shoulder pain.
The 23 year-old midfielder told Spanish media that he may need to be injected with painkillers so that he is able to take the pitch. He said that his shoulder was “painful” but that he is definitely “ready to get an injection in order to play.”
It’s more likely than not that Spain is going to need Cesc on the pitch come Wednesday with Fernando Torres playing like he has. This showdown between Spain and Germany will be epic without a doubt.
The match begins at 2:30pm EST on ESPN.

It's good to hear that he will be able to play. But I think he needs to pay attention to that shoulder pain. It might get worse if he forces to overuse his shoulders.
