Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan was so disgusted by his teams performance in the world cup that he has suspended the national team for two years!
He hopes the decision will ”enable Nigeria to reorganise its football”. He also said: “This directive became necessary following Nigeria’s poor performance in the ongoing World Cup.
Nigeria was knocked out in the group stage without winning a game.
However, under the FIFA rules, government interference is strictly forbidden.
We await the fall out.

suspension is not the solution to Super Eagles problem but remove the old ones then build them as a team from now for future sake in the spirit of soccer

Stoooopppiddd! They qualified..let me say that again.. they qualified for the cup! Which is more then I can say for countries like Czech Republic, Russia, China, Ireland..I can go on and on?! Beside the basic point of qualification, they tied one game and lost BARELY to one very good team (Argentina) and yes maybe they could have beat Greece but they barely lost that one also. I think this is a very poor sport mentality and not at all the mentality that should be shown by the president of a country.
