Our MLS Week 4 Player of the Week award goes out to the LA Galaxy’s Edson Buddle, who as of late, has been on fire. He netted another two goals this past weekend as the MLS Cup defending champions made their way to the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
This was the first time that these two teams have met since last November in Seattle when the Galaxy suffered a loss in the 2009 MLS Cup after Nick Rimando & co. got the better of Bruce Arena’s squad.
After a somewhat quiet 2009 season, Buddle has come out in 2010 with guns blazin’. Buddle currently leads the MLS in goals this season (7), shots (22), shots on goal (9), and game-winning goals (4). Homeboy is hot and has been punishing MLS defenses for four weeks straight now.
