Today, the 2010 MLS All-Star First XI roster that will be taking on English Premier League powerhouse Manchester United on July 28, will be announced this afternoon at 3:40pm EST.
For the 15th time, MLS will showcase an all-star cast that has been selected from fan votes, league coaches and GMs, players, and media. The remaining 12 players to be named to the roster will be announced this Friday.
LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena has already been named as the team’s head coach, with Houston Dynamo coach Dominic Kinnear as his assistant.
Manchester United’s Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Edwin van der Saar, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez & co. are all set to appear at the 2010 All-Star Game in Houston’s Reliant Stadium. You can catch the match LIVE on ESPN2.
