CARVALHO SIGNING FOR REAL MADRID

Chelsea has apparently accepted an offer for veteran centre back Ricardo Carvalho. The Portuguese international will sign a two-year contract and link up with national centre back partner Pepe to try and help Real Madrid wrestle the Spanish title off of Barca.
The 32-year-old has been a  top draw performer with Chelsea since his arrival from Porto, arguably helping Chelsea and even John Terry into the defender he is today.
He will be sorely missed, but with Alex also in the mix at Chelsea, they have gone with the younger option. The Blues will need a replacement and David Luiz is rumored to be a target for the EPL champs. Chelsea’s loss is most definitely Real Madrid’s gain.
