Transfer rumors of Inter Milan defender Maicon joining Jose Mourinho in Real Madrid this season have been swirling throughout the news.
Maicon’s agent Antonio Caliendo met with Real Madrid last night and left their pow wow angry due to Real Madrid’s attitude.
Currently, Maicon’s demands of €7 million per year are holding up the two parties agreeing on a new deal. Inter is apparently willing to drop their €28 million asking price. With the way things are going, it looks as though Maicon may be back at San Siro.
“His stay at Inter is a very concrete hypothesis, seeing that he is very happy in Milan,” Caliendo told Eurosport. “Anyway I am very angry with Real Madrid’s behaviour towards us.
“If you want to make a certain investment in a player, you also need to make sacrifices as far as the contract is concerned,” Caliendo said. “In any case there will be a development this week.”
