EARLY SCARE DOESN’T STOP LIVERPOOL

Liverpool came from a goal down to overcome Romanian minnows Unirea Urziceni, the shock Bruno Fernandes header sparked Liverpool in to life, Mascherano and Babel replied before Captain Steven Gerrard sealed the win in the 2nd half. After getting through the potentially tricky tie, Liverpool will be relieved to get there name in to the hat for the next round. One downer on the night was Reds center back Martin Skrtel being stretchered off towards the end of the game, it’s thought the big Slovak has broken a toe in a 50-50 challenge.
