SLOVENIA STAR SAMIR HANDANOVIC OFF TO ARSENAL?

Arsenal’s goalkeeping issues have been well documented over recent seasons. Manuel Alumnia, Arsenal’s regular number one has not instilled any kind of confidence, with back up Lukasz Fabianski also failing to step up the confidence.

A bid for Fulham’s Mark Schwarzer was rejected, and it seems that Arsene Wenger has switched his attention to the highly rated 25-year-old, Samir Handanovic.

Udinese will be reluctant to let Handanovic go, so a sizable bid will be needed, and after a good World Cup with Slovenia he might have other suitors, but not as mouth watering as Arsenal.
