LIVERPOOL EYEING WEST HAM’S COLE

It has been reported by Sky Sports that Liverpool has made an inquiry about West Ham hit-man Carlton Cole.
Before the transfer deadline hits on Tuesday, Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson will be looking to try and lock in one last piece to better their attacking options.
The problem is that this transfer is only in the beginning stages, and it’s not clear whether or not an agreement will be reached.
Avram Grant has already stated that he is not ready to sell Cole, and Cole himself has declared that he sees himself remaining at Upton Park. The 26 year-old attacker has established himself as a valuable attacking piece for his squad.
However, some type of a move can’t hurt West Ham at this point. They have lost their first three matches and are sitting at the bottom of the standings.
