EVERTON WANT LANDON TO EXTEND HIS STAY

Everton’s manager, David Moyes, has been vocal as of late when it comes to keeping Landon Donovan in England longer than planned.

“With Landon, all parties are quite keen to extend his loan deal and we may now get to keep him for a while longer, which would be great news,” he said. ”

Landon has made a splash in the EPL since arriving in Liverpool.  He was January’s Player of the Month for Everton and has continued to play some good soccer.

Moyes said, “We are still talking, but we would hope to extend the agreement because he has had such a massive impact since arriving here.”

“To hit the ground running like he has, against the best teams in the Premier League is a major achievement, and we would like to keep him for much longer,” Moyes later went on to comment.

While it’s obvious that Everton would like ole Landon to hang around for a bit longer, as of now, he is on schedule to return to Los Angeles for the regular season.

Here’s the real question at hand… is it better that Landon stay and play at a higher level for World Cup preparation or should he return home and play some MLS ball as planned?

Moyes closed by saying, “Look at the games he has been pitched into, against the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, and yet he has taken to it immediately. He’s proven how good a player he is, and we want to keep him.”

Landon would be a fool not to stay. He can either come back here and take his chances that there will actually be a season, or he can play over the pond and play with/against some of the best players in the world. Tough call... Landon for once do what is best for you, stay and play with the big boys in the EPL.
