LEHMANN COULD RETIRE
Former Arsenal shot stopper, Jens Lehmann, has hinted that it might be time to hang up his gloves. The German keeper, now 40 years old, has been one of the top 10 keepers in the world, and famously Oliver Kahn’s understudy at the international level.
The Stuttgart veteran said that he no longer wanted to stand in way of Sven Ulreich or Alexander Stolz to claim the number one spot.
Lehmann has had a fine career, and probably could do a fantastic job as a player coach. Let’s hope we see a bit more of him before he calls time on his career.
