BAYERN MUNICH FALL TO EINTRACHT FRANKFURT’S LATE GAME HEROICS

Bayern Munich suffered a devastating loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga for the first time since September.

Bayern went up early with a goal by Miroslav Klose, but Eintracht’s late-game heroics were too much to handle as they would not two goals in the final minutes to seal a 2-1 win.  Juvhel Tsoumou and Martin Fenin netted two goals in the final three minutes of the match.

Eintracht’s first goal came from a mistake made by the youngest player on the field, 17-year-old David Alaba, which would allow substitute Tsoumou to tie the game in the 87th minute.

Only two minutes later, Fenin would strike a shot in off the far post for the game-winning goal.
