MAN U MAKE THEIR EXIT

Bayern Munich knocked off EPL powerhouse Manchester United at Old Trafford this afternoon on the count of away goals, courtesy of Arjen Robben.

Man U took the pitch this afternoon in friendly confines with a three-goal lead over Bayern Munich and two in front on aggregate.

Less than eight minutes into the match, both Darron Gibson (3 min) and Nani (7 min) had netted a goal a piece to put the Red Devils up 2-0.  Then, with only four minutes remaining in the first half, Nani would find the back of the net once again with a brilliant heal-flick to put Rooney & co. up 3-nil.

It was at that moment that Bayern Munich sprung to life and had their turn-around that would help advance them out of this year’s Champions League quarter-final.

Just two minutes after Nani scored his second goal of the day, Ivica Olic put one past Edwin van der Sar to go to break at half down 3-1.  Bayern’s first goal would instill the fear that would soon become a reality for all Man U fans.

In the 74th minute of the match, Arjen Robben netted a fantastic goal that would ultimately become the deciding factor and knock off Manchester United at their beloved Old Trafford.
