Miroslav Klose (9 June 1978) plays striker for Bayern Munich and the German national team.  During yesterday’s match against Australia, Klose netted the second of Germany’s four goals in their 4-0 victory.  Klose beat Schwarzer to a long cross from Lahm inside the penalty area.  Prior to the match, there was much speculation as to what German squad would emerge from the tunnel… they had some definite holes to fill on the field, but were clearly the better team yesterday afternoon.
