Lionel Messi (24 June 1987) plays winger for Barcelona and the Argentina national team. During Saturday’s Supercopa match against Sevilla yesterday at Camp Nou, Messi netted three of Barcelona’s four goals in the match.
Barca was able to respond and turn around from a 3-1 deficit to nab the Supercopa title thanks to the 23 year-old playmaker’s hat-trick.
While Messi’s World Cup performance was a bit on the disappointing side, it’s apparent that he has decided to bounce back to his normal goal-scoring ways now.
