Rumor has it that Ashley Young has undergone a medical at Manchester United and could make his move to Old Trafford as soon as this week.

It looks like Young’s days at Villa are coming to a close now as he eyes brighter days as a Red Devil.

Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez (1 June 1988) plays striker for Manchester United in the Premier League and the Mexico national team.

During Manchester United’s match against West Bromwich, it was Hernandez who sent home the game-winner at the Hawthorns with just 15 minutes of play left i the match.

Chicharito once again acted as the team’s savior after heading in a goal off of a corner kick, where Di Matteo sent in a ball to his unmarked Mexican hit-man in the 75th minute.

Man United would close out the controversial match with a 2-1 win on the road.

Mario Balotelli (12 Aug 1990) is an Italian-born striker who currently plays for Manchester City.

During City’s clash with Aston Villa, Balotelli found the back of the net three times, helping propel the Blues to a 4-0 win for the top spot in the Premier League.

With Argentina international Carlos Tevez being rested, the former Serie A bad boy was able to step up and fill his shoes. Balotelli netted goals in the 8th (penalty) and 27th minutes in the first half of play, followed by a second penalty and third goal in the 55th minute.

It was Balotelli on this occasion, who helped ignite his club to an EPL victory.

It was the a big London derby today and the Arsenal ended a bit of a hoodoo against Chelsea in the 3-1 win.

Theo Walcott scored and got an assist, and generally looked in great form……Now if only he can find some consistency!

Karim Benzema (19 Dec 1987) is a French footballer who currently plays striker for Real Madrid.

The French hit-man netted a hat-trick in Real Madrid’s 8-0 stomping over Levante in the Copa del Rey. Benzema has come out and claimed that Real Madrid is just as capable as league rival Barcelona when it comes to finding the back of the net.

“It was a very good game for us, and in the end, I have three goals,” Benzema told Eurosport after the match. “People wanted us to show them what football is, and we have demonstrated this.

“Real Madrid also have the ability to score six, seven or eight goals.

“I don’t know if it was my best match for Real Madrid, but I will keep strong and working hard. I want to win the Copa del Rey because it is an important trophy for everyone,” he added.
