Eidur Not Down At $16 Million Move to Barca

gudjohnsen.jpegIcelandic star Eidur Gudjohnsen has made a move to Catalan giants Barcalona from English heavyweights Chelsea. It comes as a surprise as he hasn’t been a regular starter for Chelsea in the past season, and considering that he’s been used as a central midfielder! This is a huge challenge for the talented striker and I personally feel that once again Mourinho has wasted this gifted player’s talents.

Were the warning signs not there? I mean, if a club of Barcalona’s stature come in for a player that isn’t playing regularly and they have just completed a double of winning the La Liga title and the Champions League title. . . . Isn’t that an indication of the talents he has? It must be a huge confidence boost to him. I’m just sorry he didn’t end up at my team! We would of welcomed him with open arms and played him in the correct position too. Good luck Eidur and we hope to see you light up La Liga.
