Shearer Has A Kick About At The New Wembley

The new Wembley, steady as she goes lads, take your time!Former England captain Alan Shearer took his first steps on to the new Wembley pitch, promptly scored, raised his arm with that famous one fingered salute, no not the rude bird finger salute! You know the one? The boring one that everyone took the mickey out of………. The exact same one the the Newcastle United fans now miss, and myself as an England fan.

Shearer also nutmeged some kid while having a kick about, afterwards he said he was excited to play and also excited about the new Wembley, he also eased some fears by saying although it’s a new stadium it still feels like Wembley, which I was chuffed to bits to hear.

I have a friend who lives across the street from the new Wembley, when I would visit you could see the structure going up and I felt that it would be completely different and not hold the old Wembley spirit, it’s important not to live in the past to much, but it’s also important to keep the legacy and history.

Will the new Wembley be open for play soon? Apparently, even if the builders aren’t sure and the supervisors give hearty belly laughs when asked the question!
