Chelsea Flop Needs Operation
Actually I don’t think Asier Del Horno is that bad a player, I don’t think Jose Mourinho gave him a fair crack, he doesn’t seem to like any of the left back’s he’s used (Gallas, Bridge).
William Gallas is a great defender but obviously didn’t like Jose, Wayne Bridge is unlucky enough to still be there, Del Horno probably needed a little more time to settle and a little more faith from his manager.
Now a great move to Valenica, after the heartbreak of missing out on the World Cup with an ankle injury, has reared it’s ugly head again!
It means the now operated on Del Horno will be out of action until March/April 2007. Valencia have had a great start to the Spanish season, and only a blip against Celta Vigo has marred it so far, they are playing well in the Champions League also.
David Villa is firing at will, it must be an awful time to be out if your side is playing well without you! This will be Asier Del Horno’s biggest test, when he’s fully fit he has to fight for his place all over again.
Good luck to a quality player.

Why am I crazy? Don’t you think he needed more time? Look at Drogba, hardly set Chelsea fan’s hearts racing for the first couple of seasons did he? Now look at him! I bet the Chelsea faithful wouldn’t swap him now!
Del Horno if given time would have adjusted, he has got quality otherwise Chelsea wouldn’t have bothered buying him in the first place, Valencia are no mugs either, why do you think they signed him from Chelsea?
So all in all, everyone at Soccer Jones thinks you are crazy for coming up with a ridiculous comment, I mean, we don’t mind, but you are making yourself look silly in front of the rest of the class!
I think you are crazy, he was given every chance of success at chelsea and whn he was playing well he stayed in the side, but this hardly ever happened. I believe he was unfairly sent off against Barcelona, but for a professional to make such a terrible mess of that situation is unforgivable and it not only cost him but also chelsea. On top of this I dont think that I have seen him use his Right foot once. Quality? I doubt it.
